THE RIWAKA VALLEY OUR HOME: Nestled between the south western tip of the Kahurangi National Park and just south of the Abel Tasman National Park is a little piece of paradise. The Riwaka River fed by the crystal clear water bubbling out from under Takaka Hill at the Resurgeance runs through a valley lush with apple, pear and kiwi fruit orchards. The hill and the Buller Ranges to the west cut the valley off from the west winds making it a warm and sunny microclimate where we can even grow avocadoes and macadamia nuts which are usually only found in the north of New Zealand.

KAITERITERI BEACH:

Only 10 minutes drive to these golden sands and three great swimming beaches.
"Kaiteri" has excellent water based activities, starting point for water taxis and cruises to the Abel Tasman National Park, along with a cafe for a relaxing cup of coffee and delicious food and a store for supplies.
